Used tires in Hessisch Lichtenau-Hollstein

On December 28, 2023, witnesses reported illegal waste tire disposal in Hessisch Lichtenau. Despite investigations by the police and criminal police, there is no evidence of who was responsible. What was noticeable was a white small truck with possibly fake foreign license plates. Criminal proceedings were initiated and the old tires were disposed of. The police ask for further information on 05602/93930 or the criminal investigation department on 05651/9250.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 16 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 25 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.

ZARE is an active member of the AZuR network. The AZuR network finds ways and solutions for an ecologically and economically sensible tire cycle.
