Illegal waste disposal is shaking the Rhön

In the Bavarian Rhön, unknown perpetrators illegally dumped various types of waste, including old tires, gasoline cans and spent flares. The police in Lower Franconia, who were informed about two cases of illegal garbage dumping on March 26, 2024, are now looking for witnesses. Particularly in Weimarschmieden, Am Teich, rubbish was deposited. The local building yard has already begun the proper disposal of the waste.
The police ask you to report any information on 09776-8060.

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 16 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 25 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
