Lost car tires discovered on state highway

In Dollnstein, on March 27, 2024, 2230 old tires of various sizes and manufacturers were found by a police patrol on State Road 14 near Hagenacker. The old tires were scattered near the road, indicating that they probably fell from a van or trailer while driving. The Eichstätt police station suspects that the load was inadequately secured and is looking for information about the owner of the tires.
Witnesses can call (08421) 9770-0.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 16 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 25 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.

ZARE is an active member of the AZuR network. The AZuR network finds ways and solutions for an ecologically and economically sensible tire cycle.
