Scrap tire alarm in Waltrop: Action against mountains of rubbish
In a special campaign on December 19, 2023 in Waltrop, employees of the supply and disposal company collected more than a ton of garbage, including a noticeable number of old tires. This special trip revealed the problem of illegal waste disposal, especially along Hafenstrasse/Viktorstrasse. In addition to the 36 old tires, some of which were still mounted on rims, household appliances and construction rubble were also recovered. The campaign shows the great effort that is necessary to combat such environmental pollution.
