On November 25, 2023, a hunting tenant noticed a collection of around 240 car tires and some car parts in a forest area near Erbach-Ringingen on Landstrasse 70. This unauthorized deposit was located along the connecting route between Steinenfeld and Allmendingen-Altheim. The people responsible for this illegal disposal and the exact time of the crime are still unknown. The previous investigations by the commercial and environmental protection authorities in Ulm have not yielded any results, so the specialists are now hoping for information from the public.
Anyone who saw the tires and bumpers being dumped, who remembers the presence of a larger van in this forest area, or who has any other relevant information is asked to call 0731/188-3812.
On November 9th, an employee of the construction yard in Erbach discovered a collection of around 50 old tires. Some of these tires were still mounted on rims and were lying in the area of the Gögglinger Altwasser on the banks of the water, hidden in the dense bushes. Some of the tires appeared to have been there for some time as they were covered with grass and leaves. In this case, too, the Commercial and Environmental Department of the Ulm Police Headquarters has taken over the investigation and is looking for witnesses.
The police would like to point out that waste does not belong in nature. In forests and fields, garbage can pose a significant threat to plants and animals. For this reason, it is also forbidden by law to simply dump waste in the area and violations can result in heavy fines. The police vigorously pursue such violations.
