Wild rubbish is regularly found in the nature of Ehingen. This was also the case on the evening of March 25, 2024, including old car tires and washing machines. Particularly affected are the forest, the livestock market and the fountain in Tuchergasse, where old tires, electrical appliances and building rubble are often illegally disposed of. The city has to intervene several times a week to remove the garbage, which is primarily done by the city's public works department. If the perpetrator can be identified, the incident will be forwarded to the Alb-Donau-Kreis district office, which is responsible for disposal in outdoor areas. Smaller waste such as paper cups and bags are also often left near park benches. Citizens can report garbage deposits via the city app or the homepage.
