22 old tires, some with steel rims, two plastic bags full to the brim with garbage, a carpet and an electrical device - an illegal dump was recently discovered at the recycling center in Steingriff. An unknown person left waste next to a waste glass container on the weekend of November 04th, 2023. The old tires were marked with white chalk markings and a yellow “XPolo” inscription. Unfortunately, there is currently no further information about their origin.
Improper garbage disposals like this are not uncommon. The employees of the construction yard also point out that recycling centers are not responsible for removing used tires. These can either be handed over to tire dealers or disposal companies.
Witness information can either be sent directly to the Werkstoffhof or to the Schrobenhausen police on (08441) 8975-0.
