Another major fire shows how high the risk is when it comes to firefighting.
A large fire broke out at a tire storage facility in the Nordstadt district of Karlsruhe on Saturday night. Large quantities of used tires were ablaze across an area of approximately 500 square meters. Flames several meters high and massive plumes of smoke were visible from a great distance.
