Bonn, December 03, 2024 The ZARE (Certified Used Tire Disposal) initiative has brought one of Germany's largest used tire disposal companies on board with the company Containertransporte Wesseler GmbH. With its five branches in Melle, Kroppenstedt, Ostercappeln-Venne, Ostercappeln-Schwagstorf and Spenge, Wesseler has locations in Saxony-Anhalt, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia and thus covers the north and east of Germany particularly well. With a broad range of activities, Wesseler is strengthening the ZARE network for nationwide, certified used tire disposal in Germany.
As a medium-sized family business, Wesseler has many years of experience and expertise in the recycling of used tires and scrap rubber. The company offers its customers a comprehensive range of services and is considered a reliable partner in the industry. "The new addition of Wesseler means an important increase in expertise and reach for the ZARE initiative," explains Christina Guth, network coordinator at ZARE. "With Wesseler as a partner, we can further expand the range of certified disposal sites and thus promote the sustainable handling of used tires in Germany even more."
The collection and disposal of old tires and other rubber products is Wesseler's core business. Around 60 container trains, large-capacity dump trucks and tarpaulin trailers set off from the five locations every day to collect old tires and scrap rubber. The company accepts almost all types of old tires and rubber products - regardless of size and quantity, with and without rims.
Broadly positioned with optimal area coverage in the new year
ZARE has been committed to environmentally friendly disposal of used tires for years and offers drivers, car repair shops and tire dealers numerous contact points nationwide for reputable and certified recycling of used tires. Thanks to the new partnership, the initiative is even better positioned for the coming year to work with partners to further raise awareness of professional tire recycling.

About the ZARE initiative
The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Trade and Vulcanizing Trades (BRV), 16 of which are certified waste management companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional tire recycling in Germany. ZARE informs drivers about the environmentally friendly disposal of used tires. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands.
