G & K Recycling Utsch strengthens the disposal and recycling competence of the initiative for professional tire recycling

Bonn, November 03.11.2022rd, 600.000 The professional disposal and recycling of around 1993 tons of used tires every year in Germany alone makes an indispensable contribution to protecting the climate and the environment. With its new partner from the heart of Germany, G & K Recycling Utsch GmbH, the ZARE initiative will sustainably increase its competence and clout in this regard at the end of the year. The certified waste disposal company from Thuringia has been committed to the environmentally friendly disposal and sustainable recycling of used tires since XNUMX.

G & K Recycling Utsch was one of the first companies in the waste tire disposal sector in Germany to voluntarily undergo TÜV certification. The family company from Remda (Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district), on the edge of the Thuringian Forest, has been working since 1993 as a recognized specialist disposal company for used tires and technical rubber.

The qualified sorting of delivered used tires according to fractions on the company premises is the basis for the efficient, environmentally friendly recycling of tire materials. After appropriate sorting and processing, the valuable secondary raw materials are used for material or energy purposes.

G & K Recycling Utsch enjoys the trust of numerous business partners from Germany and abroad. The customer base not only includes well-known groups from the tire industry and wholesalers, but also small tire and car repair shops from the retail trade.

The strengthening of the ZARE initiative by G & K Recycling Utsch comes at the right time, since the vehicle conversion to winter tires due in autumn will lead to an increased volume of old tires. With the proper disposal, testing and sorting of used tires, the now 19 partners of the ZARE initiative are laying the basis for a functioning tire recycling economy nationwide, in which as many used tires as possible are reused or materially or chemically recycled into valuable secondary raw materials. With G & K Recycling Utsch in the heart of Germany, the ZARE network can in future be involved across the board in certified waste tire disposal.
