However, changing tires not only brings with it work, but also responsibility: old tires must be disposed of properly. Drivers are placing increasing importance on environmentally friendly disposal, and this is exactly where the ZARE (Certified Old Tire Disposal) initiative comes in.
The proper disposal of old tires is an important contribution to protecting the environment and conserving resources. Workshops and tire dealers who choose certified partners for disposal ensure that valuable raw materials are returned to the cycle and environmentally harmful practices are avoided. Certified ZARE partners guarantee the environmentally friendly recycling of old tires - whether through retreading, export or for material and chemical recycling. Workshops can thus assure their customers that their old tires are kept in the economic cycle.
Certified disposal for more customer trust
Proper disposal of old tires is more important today than ever before. Drivers increasingly expect that their old tires will not end up just anywhere, but will be recycled in a sustainable manner. Christina Guth, network coordinator at ZARE, explains: "Proper disposal cannot be taken for granted. Old tires that are disposed of improperly can cause significant environmental damage. Workshops that work with ZARE partners can be sure that all old tires will be processed responsibly."

ZARE supports tire dealers and car dealerships through a network of 17 certified disposal companies that guarantee the professional collection and recycling of old tires. Workshops can therefore concentrate fully on their core competence - providing service to their customers - while old tire disposal is in safe hands.

About the ZARE initiative
The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of 17 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Trade and Vulcanizing Trades (BRV), 15 of which are certified waste management companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional tire recycling in Germany. ZARE informs drivers about the environmentally friendly disposal of used tires. At 24 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands.
