From June 4th to 6th, 2024, the ZARE initiative presented itself at Tire Cologne 2024. During the international tire trade fair, visitors had the opportunity to discover the latest products and trends in the tire industry for three days. In Hall 7, the ZARE initiative was represented at the AZuR joint stand and an interactive action area to provide information about the importance of professional waste tire disposal in the context of the circular economy.
At the ZARE action area, waste tire disposal was demonstrated in practice over two days: partners of the initiative demonstrated live how waste tires are disposed of correctly and sustainably. A container filled with various used tires was emptied and commented on by an expert in regular 2-minute presentations. This program thrilled the audience and fit seamlessly into the central trade fair theme of sustainability. “The trade fair was a great success, characterized by numerous inspiring conversations, new impulses and new interested parties for the network,” reports Christina Guth from ZARE.
Before the start of the trade fair, the BRV general meeting took place on June 3, 2024. The program included a presentation by ZARE partner MRH Mülsen GmbH. Danny Schwalbe presented "The future of used tire recycling" and provided information about the system for sustainable used tire disposal.
