The English language brochure "Understanding Retreading" is now available in a revised version. The brochure is published by the American retread and tire repair interest group TRIB (Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau) and the tire industry association TIA (Tire Industry Association) offered.
Among other things, the brochure provides arguments for the use of retreaded tires and answers the question of whether these tires are safe. The production process for retreading is also described in detail.
The brochure is a useful source of information for both fleet operators in the transport industry and anyone interested in the subject of retreading.
