Survey result: 73% of drivers consider environmentally friendly disposal of used tires to be important

The ZARE initiative (Certified Used Tire Disposal Company) commissioned a survey from the market research institute puls, the results of which are now available.

"Is it important to you how environmentally friendly your old tires are disposed of?" was the question that a total of around 1.500 private individuals between the ages of 18 and 69 responsible for the maintenance of their cars answered online.

The result is clear:
73% of those surveyed stated that environmentally friendly disposal was important to them, 24% admitted that they had not yet dealt with the question, and only 3% showed no interest whatsoever.

Especially noticable:
It is mainly the under 30 year olds who have not given any thought to the exact circumstances of the disposal of used tires. More than a third of the participants from this age group, namely 34%, chose this answer option. In contrast, only 50% of those over 18 are undecided.

And finally ...
Older people seem to be more environmentally conscious than younger people, although they suffer from the effects of environmental pollution for much longer. However, the group of indifferent people is the same in all three age groups. Here there are opportunities for car workshops, car dealerships and tire dealers to start with education.
