For the time being, ZARE partner KURZ Karkassenhandel will only accept used tires that have been registered in advance. In addition, the company has increased the prices for accepting used tires. The reason is that there are more and more old tires and the needs of the processing companies, such as cement works and granulation plants, are already covered.
The situation for retread companies is similarly difficult, since more and more cheap new tires are coming from China and the demand for retreaded tires is therefore falling. Therefore, the companies are forced to pass on the additional costs in order to be able to continue to work economically.
