It's become a long-standing tradition for the annual ZARE partner meetings to take place at one of the ZARE partners. This year, it's at DANNINGER OHG Spezialtransporte in Passau, a founding partner of the ZARE initiative, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall.
A total of 17 participants gathered at the conference hotel, including the majority of partner companies. The evening before, at the get-together hosted by DANNINGER, there was lively discussion.
Topics for the partner meeting were: market situation, exports to non-European countries, illegal dumping, increase in sealed and silent tires, demands on politicians to allow the disposal of old tires only by certified disposal companies - this would also largely reduce the illegal disposal of old tires in Germany.
It is encouraging to note that disposal inquiries via the ZARE platform are increasing compared to the previous year. ZARE will be represented at the NUFAM trade fair in Karlsruhe in September, together with the tire retreaders, and the partners have unanimously voted in favor of participating in The Tire Cologne 2026.
