At the "Dreck-weg-Tag" in Ratingen on March 4, 2023, employees of the Office for Municipal Services and the Deputy Prof. Dr. Bert Wagener, disposed of used tires and leftover paint. From now on, the residents of Ratingen can report these and other problems, such as defective traffic lights, clogged gullies or potholes, to the city administration using the defect reporter.
Carelessly disposed of used tires and other irregularities can now be dealt with much more easily thanks to the defect reporter, since processing begins immediately after the report is made and goes directly to the responsible administration after approval. The defect is then addressed as quickly as possible and the reporter, as well as other users, are always kept up to date.
"The defect report is a further step on the way to digitization in Ratingen," says Prof. Dr. Bert Wagener. In addition, however, he also points out that not every defect can be remedied immediately and asks for your understanding if it takes longer.
