The ZARE initiative – Certified Tire Disposal Companies – is a partner of the Alliance for the Future of Tires (AZuR) and, together with companies from industry, trade, and science, is committed to a sustainable circular economy for tires. For this commitment, all AZuR partners, including the ZARE initiative, have now received a personalized AZuR partner certificate.

Particularly fitting is the fact that the certificate itself is made from recycled tire granulate. This vividly illustrates the potential of used tires as a secondary raw material and how versatile they can be in new products. At the same time, it symbolizes the shared goal of the AZuR partners: to keep tires in use for as long as possible and then return them to high-quality recycling streams within the circular economy.

The partnership certificate is valid until 2028 and recognizes the commitment of the network partners to a resource-saving and sustainable tire circular economy.

ZARE and its partners contribute their expertise to the network, particularly in the areas of professional collection, testing, sorting, and recycling of used tires. In doing so, the participating companies make a significant contribution to ensuring that used tires are directed to the most appropriate recycling pathways, such as retreading, mechanical recycling, or innovative recycling processes.

The AZuR network now unites over 80 partners along the entire value chain. Together they pursue the goal of keeping tires in circulation as completely as possible, conserving resources and reducing CO₂ emissions.

The award of the AZuR partner certificate underlines the close cooperation between ZARE and AZuR and their joint commitment to a sustainable future for the tire circular economy.
