A walker discovered several old tires at the Ahlhorn fish ponds that had been illegally disposed of there by unknown perpetrators. The woman reported her find to the police in Ahlhorn, who immediately initiated proceedings for illegal waste disposal.
The municipality has been involved and must dispose of the old tires at the public expense. If the perpetrator is found, a fine of between 80 and 1000 euros awaits him. A fine of up to 25.000 euros is due for more than five used tires.
