In Enkenbach-Alsenborn, around 250 used tires were illegally disposed of in a wooded area in the first week of April. The tires were discovered by employees of the Wattenheim motorway maintenance department. The tires were probably brought by truck to the wooded area near the motorway exit to the A6 in the direction of Saarbrücken and unloaded there. The tires were there in several places in the forest. The police hope that witnesses may have noticed something.

An observant witness saw on March 15, 2026, at around 14:30 p.m., old tires being illegally dumped in a parking lot on Hamelner Straße in the Steinbergen district (Rinteln).
On March 13, 2026, more than twenty used tires were discovered and reported on a vineyard between Köndringen and Mundingen. The exact time period in which they were dumped is unclear.
