Unknown perpetrators disposed of 50 different old tires in Herrischried, some of which were still mounted on aluminum or steel rims. In the night from March 31 to April 1, the tires were illegally discarded on the west side of the upper hiking trail over the Abhau in the direction of Hof Rescheleit about 200 meters after the junction with the hiking car park.
The tires have probably been stored outdoors for a long time - at least that's what the condition of the tires and rims suggests. The steel rims with silver plastic decorative caps, from which the VW emblem has been removed, are striking.
The Görwihl police station has been tasked with the case and is asking for information that could lead to the identification of the perpetrator. Witnesses should contact Ralf Schlageter, phone 07764/9329981.
The perpetrator faces high fines, while the disposal of tires at the Lachengraben landfill costs only two to three euros. Aluminum and steel rims can be handed in at local scrap collectors.
