In Battenberg (Eder), a large quantity of used tires was probably disposed of at the end of June, namely in the Dodenauer Feld, in the "Buhlet" district above the Tritron company. The approximately 150 tires were piled up next to a dirt road and must have been delivered with a larger van or trailer. If you have observed a suspicious vehicle in the area in question, please contact the city administration on 93 44 32. Those responsible expect a fine of up to 50.000 euros, because this illegal waste disposal constitutes an administrative offence. The city will pay a reward of 300 euros for information leading to the identification of the perpetrator.
