During their one-day garbage collection campaign, the forest workers of the Bavarian State Forests in the Ruppertshütten district once again uncovered some unbelievable things. They were not only able to salvage several car tires and the usual small rubbish, but also an old wood-burning stove, a tube television and an extractor hood. "Illegal disposal of car tires continues to make up the largest item," confirms district manager André Schönfeldt. He appeals to the rubbish offenders to either leave old tires free of charge in the car repair shop or at the tire dealer or to take them to a disposal company for a small fee.
