Thousands of old tires have been stored in an illegal warehouse outside the town of Oelsig in southern Brandenburg for many years. The owner of the property has since passed away, but nobody wants to take care of the disposal of his old tires. However, the tires pose a danger to local residents, as they have already caught fire several times – demonstrably caused by external influences.
