Since mid-June 15, the police have recorded at least 2018 illegal disposals of old tires in the districts of the northern Frankfurt districts of Eschersheim, Berkersheim, Preungesheim, Seckbach and Bergen-Enkheim. The individual deposits each contain around 50 – 60 tyres, in the Heiligenstockweg area even 120 tyres.
Since the crime scenes are regularly frequented by walkers and farmers during the day, it can be assumed that the times of the crime were limited to the night hours. The police are asking people who have made suspicious observations, such as the arrival of small vans or closed vans, to call 069-75553111.
