Used tires found in Saarland: simply thrown away

ZARE | Certified waste tire disposal company | discarded old tires

Around 50 illegally disposed old tires were discovered on the morning of October 04th near the small town of Karlsbrunn in Saarland. An unknown person had thrown the tires down a slope shortly after leaving the town on the L 277 in the direction of Lauterbach. The distribution over a distance of 400 meters suggests that the tires were disposed of from a moving van. Witnesses are asked to contact the Völklingen police on 06898/20 20.

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
