Around 250.000 used tires have been stored on the outskirts of Oelsig in Lusatia for more than two decades. A clearing of the area was postponed again and again. In the meantime, the owner of the site has died and his heirs have rejected the inheritance. The country now owns the land. And hopefully something will change soon.
