On June 5, 2023, the employees of the International Meeting Center St. Marienthal (IBZ) carried out a major clean-up operation for the 20th time, during which more than 50 used tires, plastic bottles and rubber boots were recovered from the Neisse. This campaign takes place annually on International Environment Day. Several thousand old tires have already been seized over the years.
