Witnesses reported that on February 14, 2024, four illegal old tires were dumped at the Hotel Estricher Hof Trier property boundary.
The public order office in Trier was informed about the incident.

On November 1, 2025, four used tires without rims were illegally dumped in a parking lot on the B470 near Gutenstetten. A similar incident also occurred in Scheinfeld.
On the night of October 31, 2025, several old tires on a property in Wallerfing caught fire. Police and firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent properties.
