Various types of scrap tires dumped illegally

Between Tuesday, October 19, 2021 and Wednesday, October 20, 2021, there was an illegal disposal of used tires in Ahaus. The tires are all types of tires from passenger cars to truck and motorcycle tires.
The perpetrators remain unknown so far. However, due to the amount of tires, the police suspect that the perpetrators had to drive two loads and transported the tires in a larger vehicle.

Anyone who knows anything about this incident or has observed any abnormalities can contact the Ahaus police department on (02561) 9260.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 17 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 16 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 24 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
