On April 6, 2025, several vehicles and stored scrap tires caught fire on the premises of a car repair shop in Ahlen. The black cloud of smoke was visible as far away as the neighboring town of Hamm. A large fire department was deployed. Extinguishing efforts continued into the late evening hours.
On June 28, 2025, in Landau – the first event celebrating the company's 70th anniversary – everything was perfect! Great weather, delicious food, and lots of guests.

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
ZARE is an active member of the AZuR network. The AZuR network finds ways and solutions for an ecologically and economically sensible tire cycle.
