100 old tires in the Arnsberg Forest

In Arnsberg, around 100 old tires were illegally disposed of in a forest on Dreisborner Weg in the middle of the day on February 6, 2024 between 9 a.m. and 16 p.m. Among the tires was a labeled tire indicating a 2010 Renault Twingo. The city is looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrators - by email to abfallwirtschaft@arnsberg.de or by phone at 02932/201-4120.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
