After the incident in February, the city of Celle now has to deal with illegally dumped tires again. A total of 500 old tires have appeared in three different locations. It is assumed that all of the tires were disposed of in the "Brand" forest area between Nienhagen and Ehlershausen on the weekend of June 3-4, 2023.
Police suspect a truck was used for the crime. The tires were probably already several decades old and showed corresponding signs. The perpetrator of the incident in February was identified and had to pay a fine of €6.000. Since it is again an illegal deposit, the perpetrator or perpetrators can expect a fine again.
