On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, two cases of illegal waste disposal were discovered in Otze. On the western outskirts of the town on the “Meeerfeld” street, unknown people probably dumped around 4 cubic meters of old tires in a vehicle. South of Otze, in the “Black Mountain” area, a total of five filled used oil canisters were also disposed of. In both cases, the police arranged for the waste to be properly disposed of by a regional waste company. Administrative offense proceedings for unauthorized waste disposal were initiated.
