An environmental offender disposed of around 300 tires on a commercial road in Steimbke between July 24.07.2023th, 22.00 at 25.07.2023:10.00 p.m. and July 05026th, 900850 at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. The condition of the old tires suggests that they were used as silage covers. The Steimbke police have started the investigation and are accepting tips on XNUMX/XNUMX.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
