Unauthorized disposal of old tires in the Rotenburg forest area

Illegal waste tire disposal

As the Rotenburg police station announced, there were two illegal dumpings of garbage on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 between 06:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Unknown people had disposed of more than 60 old tires in different places in the forest area between Rothenburg and Hastedt. The locations are on the northeast side of the B 440, opposite the old Bullensee access road.
The Rotenburg police station will receive relevant information about the perpetrators on 04261/947-0. If you have any questions, please call 04261/947-104.

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
