On March 10, 2026, an illegal dumping of waste occurred along county road 627 between Billerbeck and Bentierode (Einbeck). Unknown persons left two blue garbage bags containing remnants of a children's birthday party at the roadside. Additionally, Used tires and other waste (pet supplies) disposed of.

The incident occurred within a short period of time between 10:50 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Police are asking for information regarding possible perpetrators. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police immediately.
