Illegally disposed of old tires found near Schwüblingsen

Illegal waste tire disposal

A previously unknown person illegally disposed of 125 old tires on the K 80 near Schwüblingsen. They were found on the dirt road behind a railway bridge between Schwüblingsen and Sievershausen. The period of the crime can be limited to Friday, October 6, 2023, 18:00 p.m. and Friday, October 20, 15:00 p.m.
The police suspect that the perpetrators tried to obscure the disposal. The tires were arranged in such a way that it appeared as if they were intended to cover a straw rent.
The police will receive relevant information about the case on 05173/92543-0 or online at www.onlinewache.polizei.niedersachsen.de.

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
