Celle complains about further mountains of illegal old tires

We recently reported that a total of 500 used tires were found at three different locations in Celle at the beginning of June. Here takes you to the publication of the article. On the weekend of June 10th and 11th, 2023, another 400 old tires were discovered. Two of the three localities overlap with the previous ones. Investigations have now been launched against this illegal waste disposal.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
