Another illegal disposal of old tires in Steimbke

Illegal waste tire disposal

On July 31.07.2023, XNUMX, used tires were again illegally disposed of between Steimbke and Lichtenhorst. The last illegal disposal of used tires took place here in mid-July 2023. In the current crime, 250 old tires, some of which were still on rims, were illegally dumped.
The police suspect the same perpetrators, but they are still unknown to this day. Anyone who has information about this crime should contact the police on (0 50 21) 9 77 80.

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
