On the night of Tuesday, April 30, 2024, there was a concerning environmental incident in Beverstedt-Stemmermühlen. A road user reported around 01:00 a.m. that a large number of old tires had made the connecting path in the direction of the Ahe model airfield impassable. The discovery of around 65 old tires of various sizes, which had apparently been left there the night before, was confirmed on site. Due to the number of tires, it is reasonable to assume that they were transported in a larger vehicle or trailer and unloaded there.
The police in Schiffdorf are asking witnesses who can provide further information to call 04706 9480.
