Approximately 300 used tires were illegally dumped in a wooded area near Gilde in the Gifhorn district. The tires were found on a forest path along county road 35 and, according to current information, likely came from a full truckload. A witness discovered the dumping on April 10, 2026, and informed the police. The incident is believed to have occurred between 20 p.m. on April 9 and 10 a.m. on April 10.
