260 old tires illegally disposed of in the Celle district

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, employees of the Celle Association were again confronted with a case of environmental pollution. This time they had to transport 260 illegally dumped old tires near Wolthausen. The repeated incident of wild waste in the Celle district highlights the ongoing problem of illegal waste disposal in the region.

About ZARE

The ZARE initiative is an amalgamation of a total of 18 companies organized in the Federal Association of Tire Dealers and Vulcanisers (BRV), 17 of which are certified disposal companies. The ZARE partners have set themselves the task of raising awareness of professional old tire recycling in Germany. At 29 locations, the ZARE partners cover almost all of Germany and the Netherlands. The ZARE partners do not have any additional certification compared to the certified used tire disposal companies who do not belong to the initiative. The certificate in accordance with the Waste Management Ordinance/BRV requirement profile alone stands for environmentally friendly disposal of old tires. The ZARE initiative makes this public.
