Over 100 used tires were illegally dumped at the Hoheneiche cemetery near Witzenhausen. The discovery was reported on February 13, 2026. Police and the local council are asking witnesses to contact them at 05651/9250 to help identify the perpetrators.

On March 13, 2026, more than twenty used tires were discovered and reported on a vineyard between Köndringen and Mundingen. The exact time period in which they were dumped is unclear.
