On September 25, 2025, a witness reported an illegal dumping of used tires in the Steinbach quarry (Main-Spessart district). Four complete wheels (winter tires on steel rims) were found there, approximately 50 meters off the county road. The incident is being prosecuted under the German Recycling Management Act, and the police are appealing for information.
