On December 4, a hunting leaseholder discovered an illegal dumping site in a wooded area near the HAS 27 county road between Buch and Abersfeld. Unknown individuals left three old tires and rims there. The Haßfurt police station is investigating and is appealing for information on possible perpetrators.

On December 22, 2025, approximately 19 used tires were illegally dumped along an agricultural road near the L50/L52 highways close to Salmtal, Altrich, and Klausen-Pohlbach. The Wittlich Police Inspectorate is investigating.
