In the Hunsrück region, unknown persons illegally dumped waste on a farm track near Eckersweiler (Birkenfeld district) between Sunday, March 22, 2026, and Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026.
In Norddeich, Schleswig-Holstein (Dithmarschen district), unknown individuals dumped 16 old tires, carpet remnants, and PVC flooring in a green area. According to the Heide police station, the waste was located off to the side of the road.
Germany will have already exhausted its ecological reserves for this year by May 10, 2026. From now on, we will be living off the resources of future generations. This is the "German Overshoot Day".
