Several old tires and oil canisters were dumped in a cornfield in the Hohenwart district near Tittling between 2 and 6 a.m. The incident was reported on September 23, 2025. Police are investigating under sections of the Recycling Management Act and are asking for information to be called at 08504 91089-0.
On November 1, 2025, four used tires without rims were illegally dumped in a parking lot on the B470 near Gutenstetten. A similar incident also occurred in Scheinfeld.
On the night of October 31, 2025, several old tires on a property in Wallerfing caught fire. Police and firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent properties.
