Twenty used tires have been illegally dumped in a wooded area near the Schwarzweiher pond, directly adjacent to State Road 2246 near Weihenzell in the Ansbach district. According to police, the dumping did not occur all at once, but rather over a longer period from the end of June to the beginning of August 2026. Therefore, a precise date and time of the incident are unknown. There are currently no leads regarding the perpetrator. The landowner is now responsible for the proper disposal of the tires and will likely bear the costs. The gradual dumping over several weeks makes such cases difficult to investigate, as individual trips are unlikely to attract attention. The Ansbach Police Department requests any information regarding suspicious vehicles or individuals in the vicinity of State Road 2246.
