On October 22, 2024, garbage and old tires were again illegally disposed of at the "Kalten Graben" in the Bernecktal. Around a dozen old tires as well as used oil containers and other rubbish had to be removed by public works employees. Despite the efforts of the city of Schramberg, the place remains a target for garbage offenders. The public order office pursues the offenders, and fines and disposal costs can be considerable.
